"Love Gorriti Taberna. Visited over Easter. Came here for breakfast and had the warm egg omelette and Jamon in a roll - it was utterly delicious! The eggs are good quality and it was still warm! Their pintxos were fresh and they have a high turnover of food meaning food is fresh and replenished often. Great service, busy place used by locals."

"BAR GORRITI – A Perfect Introduction to San Sebastián’s Pintxos Culture BAR GORRITI was one of my first food stops in San Sebastián, and it turned out to be a wonderful introduction to the city’s famous pintxos culture. I first visited during a morning walk and was surprised by how calm and relaxed the atmosphere was. However, when I passed by again later in the evening, the place was absolutely packed with locals and visitors alike. Seeing such a difference between morning and evening made me realize just how popular this bar is. One of the most memorable parts of the experience was the gentleman working behind the counter. He has a strong, traditional presence and a serious expression at first glance, but once you interact with him, you quickly discover a warm and friendly personality. He is exactly the kind of character who gives a place its unique charm and authenticity. As for the food, this was actually my very first meal after arriving in San Sebastián, which may have made the experience even more special. The pintxos were delicious, fresh, and beautifully representative of the region’s culinary culture. That said, after spending time walking around the city, I quickly realized that San Sebastián is filled with countless excellent pintxos bars. There are so many great options that it would honestly be difficult for me to name a single “best” one. Each place seems to have its own specialties, atmosphere, and loyal following. What I will remember most from BAR GORRITI, however, is the simple pleasure of enjoying freshly prepared pintxos with a glass of chilled Cava in the morning. There was something wonderfully relaxing about starting the day that way while taking in the atmosphere of San Sebastián. If you are visiting the city and want to experience a traditional local bar with character, friendly service, and delicious pintxos, BAR GORRITI is definitely worth a stop. Whether you visit during a quiet morning or a lively evening rush, it offers a genuine taste of San Sebastián."

"Very very authentic place. The price is lower than in other places and it doesn’t sacrifice the taste! Crazy variety of pintxos with mushrooms, octopus, anchovies, shrimps , jamon etc. It is a tiny place, not a lot of room, and it was fun to experience that as a local do by standing outside near the entrance enjoying wine, pintxos and conversations"

"Though it’s located in the center of the old town, it seemed like local people came visit and got pintxos and drinks. Gilda with octopus was amazing. Simple ingredients taste that good, which was impressive. It was easy to find a place to drink at 6 pm in the low season."
